Loop Markings

Edit the markings on a piece from the Loop page. Choose a kind of marking, then click the edge of a face to put one there; click it again to take it off. Each marking sits on the middle of one face edge, and an edge holds one marking at a time. A road needs two ends on a face to run across it. The Ground tools color a whole face instead: click a face to make it water, grass or dirt, and click it again to set it back. Where a road divides a face, each side takes its own ground: the two halves beside a straight road, the corner inside a bend and the rest, or each area between the arms of a junction. With Flood fill checked, a click instead colors every area connected to the one clicked that shows the same ground, over the piece's edges onto other faces, stopping at roads and at other grounds.

Download 3MF saves the piece for a multi-material printer, with each kind of marking inlaid in its own color: grass on extruder 1, trees 2, roads 3, road stripes 4, then bushes, rocks, ponds and flowers on 5 to 8, and dirt on 9. Water faces print in the ponds' filament, and grass faces are the grass body itself.
